Intel Driver Support Assistant keeps on telling me to install Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260 even though I've successfully installed it a couple of times.

I am using Intel NUC6i7KYK.

Last scan I did with Assistant was 2018/9/30 - 19:38. The Assistant version is current. It tells me that the current Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260 is 20.70.0.5 and that the driver is not installed in my system.

Can you please double check in Hardware properties if you have the version that the Intel® DSA is recommending? This link will help you to check the version: Identify Your Intel® Wireless Adapter and Wi-Fi Driver Version Number. Check "Option two: Manual identification"

If you are able to confirm that is the same version, you can try to clear any browser cache before scanning your system.
